RP Phoneme Helper Plus Software Privacy Statement

This privacy statement relates to RP Phoneme Helper Plus computer application (not the website where this statement is posted).
1. Information Collection and Use
RP Phoneme Helper Plus software does not collect or store any personal data. On desktop platforms, a list of current apps is provided in the drop-down menu, but this list is not transmitted elsewhere. Mobile platforms do not list current apps (and therefore do not transmit this information either).
Within RP Phoneme Helper Plus, users can connect to The Prime Machine server to check availability of reference tools using third party services. Access to these services is then provided through a web browser window. The RP Phoneme Helper Plus browser operates using the user's operating system's browser; when the user uses specific functions, RP Phoneme Helper Plus will attempt to extract audio or pronunciation script data from the currently loaded page. When using the browser, the privacy statement for the user's default browser (or Edge for Windows 10) will apply. RP Phoneme Helper Plus does not attempt to use any personal infomation from the browser.
If the user navigates to websites not supported by RP Phoneme Helper Plus, the website will be launched in the device's default browser. When navigating using the browser within RP Phoneme Helper Plus, third party websites

2. Log Data
No log data is collected or stored.
3. Security
For all functions except those on the Search Tab, not data are transmitted over the internet or via networks. On the Search Tab, the user may choose to activate the browser to navigate third party websites. When this is activated, no personal data is transmitted to The Prime Machine website. The request merely sends a software version number and collects information about available third party services. When the user clicks to look up a word in a third party website (using the built in browser), details of the security of the third party services should be sought from the third party websites.
